As a video editing expert working on client projects, it's crucial to efficiently review and manage your task requests. Accessing Your Workspace

  • The Workspace tab is your central hub for all assigned client projects.
  • Once a task is assigned to you, the corresponding project becomes visible in your workspace.
  • Projects are displayed with key information such as the project name, last update time, and task statistics.

Task Overview and Management

  • Within each project, you'll find a list of all tasks assigned to you.
  • The task list provides essential information at a glance:
    • Task Name
    • Due Date
    • Priority Level
    • Current Status
  • Two viewing options are available to suit your preference: List view & Kanban Board
  • You can filter tasks by status to focus on specific stages of your workload.

Detailed Task Information

When you open a specific task, you'll access the main task working window, which is divided into three primary sections:

  1. Task Details • Contains the core information about the assignment • Includes the task title, detailed description, and specific guidelines • Outlines any particular requirements or expectations from the client
  2. Resources This tab provides all the necessary materials for completing the task: • Media Footage / Other Files: Downloadable assets required for the project • External Resource Links: Access to additional materials stored on platforms like Google Drive or Dropbox • Sample or Inspiration Video Links: Reference content to guide your creative direction
  3. Deliveries and Feedback • Where you'll submit your completed work • Allows for communication and iteration with the client or project manager

Effective Task Management Strategies

  • Regularly review your task list to stay updated on upcoming deadlines and priorities.
  • Utilize the priority indicators (High, Medium, Low) to manage your workflow efficiently.
  • Pay close attention to task statuses (In Progress, Complete, Delivered, Revision) to track your progress and identify any tasks requiring immediate attention.
  • Thoroughly examine all provided resources before beginning work to ensure you have a complete understanding of the project requirements.
