Sending a well-crafted proposal is your first step towards landing a project on Indiedoers. A strong proposal not only showcases your skills but also demonstrates your understanding of the client's needs. This guide will take you through the process of creating and submitting compelling proposals that stand out from the competition.

Accessing the Proposal Form

Once you've found a project you're interested in, click the "Submit Proposal" button on the project details page.

Filling Out the Proposal Form

The proposal form includes several fields to complete:

  • Price / Month: Enter your proposed monthly rate
  • Number of Tasks: Specify how many tasks you can complete
  • Revisions per Task: Indicate the number of revisions you offer
  • Turnaround Time: State your expected completion time (in hours)
  • Trial Period: Set a trial period if applicable (e.g., 2 days)

Additional Options

  • Check boxes for "Unlimited tasks" or "Unlimited revisions" if you offer these
  • Free Trial Inclusion & Terms: Describe what you'll offer as a free trial and any terms

Crafting Your Proposal Message

In the "Proposal Message" section, create a tailored message that addresses the client's needs and highlights your relevant skills and experience.

Reviewing and Sending

Before submitting, review all the information you've entered. When you're satisfied with your proposal, click the "Send Proposal" button.

Follow-up

After sending your proposal, monitor your messages for any response from the client. Be prepared to answer questions or provide additional information if requested.
